Most of our fruited beers are about subtlety. Our aim is a harmonious balance of beer, barrel, acidity, and fruit. For the Upper Bound series, we showcase our favorite fruits, subtlety be damned! For the first entry we opted for apricots, and added over 5 lbs per gallon. The result is an all-encompassing fruit flavor and bold acidity. Minimal sweetness, other than the perception provided by the fruit aroma.
