TDH Pillowfort ($22/4-pack): 8.3% This batch of Pillowfort received the same 4.4 lbs/bbl of Citra and Azacca in the tank, followed by a third dose in our infusion tank! The result is a truly explosively aroma! This one exudes melon, grapefruit, and orange especially. We’ve continued to lower our dry hopping temperature to smooth-out the polyphenol bitterness from the massive quantity of dry hops.

Cheater Hops #22 ($19/4-pack): 7.3% The twenty-second iteration of Cheater Hops shows off some fantastic Motueka from Freestyle Hops in New Zealand along with Citra Cryo. We bought another box of the same lot we used for Understated Lies, for a beautiful lemon-lime aroma.

Local Roaster ($17/4-pack): 5.8% Like our dry hopping rate, our “dry beaning” rate for coffee beers continues to climb upward. When we started ~1 lb/bbl was our standard, for this Oatmeal Porter we’re up to 2.5 lbs/bbl! We selected Peruvian Tabaconas from our friends at Vigilante in Hyattsville. We’ve used it in a couple beers before (including Threat Level Morning batch #2). It always brings both orange and almond notes that work beautifully in dark beers!
