Rings of Light is the purest expression of Sapwood hoppy beer. We use every trick in our brewing arsenal to saturate it with tropical, citrusy, and melony Citra® hop aromatics. Oats provide a creamy body, while our house ale strain creates a richness too often missing from session beers.

Tmavé Pivo (Czech-style dark lager) is to Schwarzbier as Czech Pilsner is to German Pilsner. Both are dark lagers, but Tmavé Pivo is smoother, rounder, and maltier. We brewed ours with Czech-grown Pilsner and dark malts. It lagered for six weeks before tapping to marry the malt and hops into a cola, cocoa, bready, herbal harmony.

We split a pallet of New Zealand hops with our friends from Astro Lab Brewing Co. (Silver Spring). To showcase the 2020 harvest, we each brewed a riff on the same recipe with Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops. Our version fermented cold with a nearly-forgotten lager strain called Tum35. Ultra-clean, allowing the gooseberry, grapefruit, and grape hoppiness to star.
