For Snip Snap’s second anniversary, we brewed an extra special batch. Extra malt, extra kettle hops, and extra dry hops! In addition to traditional hop pellets, we added two concentrated hop products: Incognito™ and Lupomax™, for an outrageous total of 10 lbs of hops per barrel! The result is everything we love about Snip Snap: citrus and passion fruit hop aromatics, creaminess from the oats, a touch of vanilla from our house English ale strain… just extra!

A handful of hop varieties pack such appealing aromatics that brewing with them is like cheating. We named our ever-changing series of IPAs “Cheater Hops” in their honor. We are honest brewers, that’s why we can admit when we cheat! We double dry-hopped Cheater Hops #15 with over four pounds-per-barrel of Strata, Mosaic, and Simcoe. The combination provides a huge range of hop aromatics from mango, to blueberry, to dank citrus.
