Saturday March 11th at noon we’ll release: Cuttings (5% Belgian Single), Smuzi Orangesicle (6% Sour with Orange Juice, Orange Zest, Vanilla Beans, and Non-Dairy SOft-Serve), and Full Measure (6.4% All Nelson Extra Pale Ale). All three new beers are on draft starting Friday!
Cuttings ($16/4-pack): Belgian Single. While Belgian Dubbels, Tripels, and Quads get most of the excitement, the humble Belgian Single (Patersbier) is often ignored. It’s pale, light, bright, and a little bit hoppy. We brewed ours with with Belgian Pilsner malt and Grungeist hops, for a clean base and slight tropical fruitiness to compliment the banana and bubblegum from the Belgian ale fermentation.
Smuzi Orangesicle ($23/4-pack): “Creamsicle” Sour. A Sapwood smoothie sour… what a time to be alive! We loaded this batch with orange puree and real vanilla beans! Then we added vanilla soft serve mix to bring the rich creamy flavor of a scoop of ice cream on top! It’s a creamy dreamy screamy dessert in a glass!
Full Measure ($18/4-pack): Extra Pale DDH with Nelson Sauvin. Nelson Sauvin is one of our favorite hops, so we wanted to hop a beer with it and nothing else! That’s Nelson in the mash, kettle, two rounds of dry hopping: the first with traditional pellets, the second with double-concentrated Cryogenic CGX™! The result is a complete and intense expression of the hop’s range of aromatics: gooseberry, Sauvignon Blanc, and rhubarb!
