British-inspired Summer Ale

Our take on a British Summer Ale! We used our usual house English strain, but rather than load up on citrusy American or Southern Hemisphere hops we added just a touch of earthy Styrian Goldings from Slovenia and orange-tinged East Kent Goldings from England. For malt, a blend of Golden Promise and Maris Otter creates a slightly biscuity fullness.

Double Citrus Sorbet ($22/4-pack) 8.0% ABV

Double IPA with Citrus Zest and Vanilla Beans Added

Nothing quite brings out the best in our hoppy beers like citrus zest and vanilla beans! This Mosaic® and Galaxy DDH DIPA got the full treatment with 1.5 lbs of Madagascar vanilla beans, and the zest of more than 200 citrus fruits. We used mostly oranges and grapefruit, but added a little lemon and lime. Like rainbow sherbet in a glass!
